Skynet Killfeed (the Skynet Discord bot, killfeed.com and the Skynet Killfeed phone app) has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out what is prohibited, how to report it, and what we do when we receive a report.
What is prohibited
- Any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers minors, including images, video, text, drawings, links or AI-generated material.
- Sharing, requesting, or linking to child sexual abuse material, or saying where it can be found.
- Grooming: contacting a minor, or someone you believe to be a minor, with sexual intent or to arrange contact for that purpose.
- Sextortion, trafficking, or any other exploitation of a minor.
- Using gamertags, faction or server names, announcements, support tickets or any other part of Skynet for any of the above.
Skynet is not intended for children under 13, and users must meet the minimum age of Discord and of their game platform to use it.
Where people can post
Skynet has no private messaging between users and no feature for users to share pictures with each other. The places where users can write text others see are gamertags and names shown on leaderboards, faction announcements (visible to that faction's members), server announcements (posted by a server's staff) and support tickets (visible only to the person who opened them and Skynet staff). Announcements can be reported in the app, and a post that several people report is hidden until a Skynet admin reviews it.
How to report
- In the app or on this site: open Help & support and choose Child safety concern (killfeed.com/help). Say where you saw it: the player, faction or server name, and roughly when. Please do not attach or send copies of abusive images. Describe where they are and we will act on the original.
- On an announcement: use its Report button. Choose Help & support as well so the report reaches us straight away.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first. In the United States you can also report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at report.cybertip.org.
What we do with a report
- Child safety reports are handled ahead of all other support requests by Skynet's administrators.
- Content that breaks these standards is removed or hidden, and the accounts involved are suspended or banned from Skynet.
- Where we find apparent child sexual abuse material, we report it to NCMEC's CyberTipline as required by law in the United States, and to the relevant regional or national authorities elsewhere.
- We preserve the information the law requires us to keep for those reports, and we cooperate with valid requests from law enforcement.
- We do not tell the person who was reported who made the report.
Contact
Our designated point of contact for child safety and our CSAM prevention practices can be reached through Help & support, choosing Child safety concern.
